NUMFC 1s
NUMFC 1s play on a Sunday morning in the local the Nottinghamshire East Midlands Public Authorities League (EMPAL) against other Nottinghamshire football clubs. The 1s are comprised of current University of Nottingham students, many of whom have previously played academy and semi-pro football.
In addition to the EMPAL league, the 1s compete in the Regional NAMS Cup throughout the year as well as playing in the annual National NAMS Tournament which sees over 50 medical schools across the UK compete for the prestigious title - a title which we have won twice in our history. The 1s also play in Alumni and Medics Varsity.

A MESSAGE FROM THE CAPTAIN
"I would like to start by thanking Jesse Cook for all his hard work this past season. It has been the strongest NUMFC squad of recent years and it is a shame that the previous season was disrupted due to the pandemic. We're losing a few influential players this year, however I believe the current squad of players is the best it has been for a while and with a strong intake of freshers there is no recent why we can't be competing at the top of the league again. I'm really looking forward to next season".
